Chester is a walled city of great significance from Roman times, comparable with York and Canterbury. Apart from historic buildings dating back 100's of years, Chester is also a thriving shopping location, and resplendent with cafes, bars and restaurants to suit every taste.
Chester Zoo is one of the largest in the UK. It is home to over 11,000 animals as well as 110 acre award winning grounds. Our zoo visit will also give a little time to see the city of Chester before heading for home.
