Welcome to the very North of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, the iconic Giants Causeway and the award-winning Titanic Belfast experience. We explore spectacular mountain scenery and rugged coastlines, discover legends, listen to the Gaelic language and, of course, enjoy the Craic!
Day 1 Ireland
We leave the Travel centre in the morning and head to Holyhead for the ferry crossing to Dublin
On arrival in Ireland, we travel the short distance to our first hotel, The Trim Castle
Day 2 Donegal
After a leisurely breakfast we travel to Donegal stopping to visit Belleek Pottery.
In the afternoon we check in to our hotel and have time to freshen up ready for our evening meal at the Hotel .
Day 3 Glenveagh National Park
After breakfast a scenic excursion awaits! We visit the Glenveagh National Park and Castle. This spectacular corner of County Donegal is described as Heaven on Earth and was frequented by the Golden Hollywood stars including Greta Garbo, Clarke Gable and Marilyn Monroe.
We return to the hotel for our evening meal
Day 4 Donegal area
Today is all about Donegal! Breakfast is at the hotel and then we explore the town with the opportunity to visit the Donegal Tweed shops as well as stroll along the Diamond, the pedestrianised area. During the day we take a cruise on Donegal Bay for a chance to view the seal colony on Seal Island, The Bluestack Mountains and the many islands. Listen to the intriguing commentary and relax in the fully stocked bar on board!
Day 5 Giants Causeway
After breakfast we leave Donegal and head to the iconic Giants Causeway followed by a visit to Bushmills Distillery for a little tasting.
After a day on the Northern coast we continue to the Rosspark Hotel, Ballymena our home for 2 nights

Day 6 Titanic Belfast
We have a visit to Belfast this morning, after breakfast, to the worlds’ largest Titanic visitor centre
The visitor attraction opened in 2012 as a monument to Belfast's maritime heritage. It is situated on the site of the former Harland & Wolff shipyard where RMS Titanic was built and tells the story of the ill – fated ship over 9 interactive galleries, from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to its maiden voyage and subsequent place in history. A definite ‘must see’ attraction!
Day 7 Ferry Belfast – Stranraer
Sadly, after breakfast it’s time to leave Ireland as we travel the short distance to Belfast and take the ferry to Cairnryan from where we continue to the Roberts Travel centre, expecting to arrive late in the evening.
