Nestled on the waterfront of the French Riviera on the ‘route des Mimosas’ the lovely resort of St Raphaël is a delight with its long promenade and stylish calm atmosphere.
We visit the Cote d’Azur’s glitzy and glamourous resorts, a hill top village of Provence, and the star of the coast, Monaco. All with the sparkling Mediterranean Sea and Esterel mountains as a back drop.

Day 1 by Rail to the South of France
We depart in the early morning to London St Pancras station where we check in for our Eurostar journey to Paris. At Paris we change to a high speed French Train, the TGV inOui, for a 5 hour journey to the French Riviera. On arrival at St Raphaël, we transfer to our hotel located in the Santa Lucia Harbour area.
Day 2 St Raphael
Today is free to explore this lovely resort
Our hotel is situated at St Lucia Harbour and a stroll around the café’s and shops whilst admiring the little boats and larger yachts is a great way to spend a relaxing morning. Past the port and following the promenade will take you to the Vieux Port (old harbour) which is about 30 minutes’ walk.
Saint-Raphael also has many cafes and shops and a colourful old town, with narrow streets to explore and a daily fruit and vegetable market.
Day 3 Monaco, Monte Carlo
Today we travel by train to Monaco, Monte Carlo.
Needing no introduction, the Principality of Monaco, is the second smallest country in the World and famed for its glamour and wealth. The Prince’s Palace, former home of Princess Grace and current home of her son, Prince Albert II, is at the top of the cliff-bound medieval Monaco-Ville. Monte Carlo is the more well-known neighbourhood and home to the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, and the Casino
Entrance to the famous Casino is allowed with appropriate dress and a fee of around €12
Day 4 St Tropez
Today we enjoy more glitz and glamour as we take the boat from St Raphael to St Tropez.
This former peaceful fishing village is now a jet-set favourite thanks to Brigitte Bardot who came here 1950s to star in Et Dieu… Créa la Femme. Look out for the spectacular yachts and celebrity spot in the harbour!
Day 5 St Raphaël

Day 6 St Paul De Vence and Nice
Today we travel inland to the Provençal hilltop village of St Paul de Vence. Popular with artists we are sure you will be charmed by the tranquil medieval village with art galleries, beautiful stone houses, narrow paved streets and enchanting fountains. After some time in the village we head back to the coast for a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
Day 7 St Raphaël

Day 8 Return journey
We say farewell to St Raphaël and join the Highspeed train to Paris. This journey takes 5 hours. In Paris we join the Eurostar to London and make our way back to the travel centre , arriving in the middle of the evening.

Due to the situation and design of the hotel, rooms do not have a full sea-view however pool view rooms on the upper floors have a glimpse of the sea!
