We will visit Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews, Clarence House, Kensington Palace with included Afternoon Tea.
Sunday: We depart Hugglescote this morning and make our way to London with a stop in Windsor.
Monday: This morning, we start the day with a visit to the The Royal Mews, home to the historic royal carriages and coaches, the most dazzling of all being the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since Geroge IV in 1821.
We then visit Kensington Palace. Built in 1605 it become the royal home for William & Mary in 1689. In recent years it has been home to many royals, including the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret, Diana, Princess of Wales and currently the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. After, we have Afternoon Tea in the Orangery Pavilion.
Tuesday: Today we visit Buckingham Palace where you can see the 19 magnificent State Rooms which provide the setting for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. In the afternoon we visit Clarence House, the official residence of HRH The Prince of Wales, and home to much of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother’s art collection.
