Tuesday: Today we take a wonderful scenic trip through the heart of the lake District to the ever-popular North Lakes town of Keswick, under the shadow of Skiddaw, before continuing to England’s most beautiful lake, Ullswater, for a cruise on a ‘steamer’ from Pooley Bridge to Glennriding. We return via the narrow, but beautiful Kirkstone Pass.

There we will be some free time in Bowness to explore this popular town and savour the atmosphere of this delightful town.
Thursday: We charge full steam ahead today as we make our way to the Western Lake District for a nostalgic trip back in time on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, affectionately known by the locals as ‘La’al Ratty’. Enjoy a return trip on Lakeland’s oldest and longest railway from the delightful coastal village of Ravenglass through two glorious valleys to the foot of England’s highest mountains.
