Monday: We depart Hugglescote this morning and make our way to Carmarthen with a stop for lunch, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Tuesday: This morning we are joined by a guide to visit Swansea, Wales’ Waterfront City. It sits on the sandy 5 mile stretch of Swansea Bay. The City Centre is a vibrant hub with over 230 shops and cafes.

After we visit Mumbles, a vibrant seaside village with over 120 shops and cafes hugging the west side of Swansea Bay.

Wednesday: Today sees us visit The National Wool Centre near Newcastle Emlyn, Located in the historic former Cambrian Mills, shirts and shawls, blankets and bedcovers, woolen stockings and socks were all made here, and sold in the surrounding countryside - and to the rest of the world. After we will visit the Coracle Centre at at Cenarth Falls, a unique collection of coracles from Wales and around the world set in the grounds of the 17th century mill beside the salmon leap falls. 

Thursday: This morning we board the coach for a visit to Tenby. This delightful harbour and seaside town has plenty of shops and cafes. In the Afternoon we visit Ye Olde Worlde Café, affectionately known as ‘Auntie Vi’s’ for a cup of tea and cake.

Friday: This morning we bid a fond farewell to the hotel and make our way to Hugglescote, with a stop for lunch, arriving back late afternoon.

Ivy Bush Hotel***

This historic hotel is located in the centre of the West Welsh town of Carmarthen, ideally located for visiting all attractions. Once the favoured retreat of Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton, this hotel has been sympathetically extended over the years.

All 70 bedrooms are traditionally decorated with en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, television, and hairdryer. There is an extensive bar/lounge in which to relax and a large restaurant. There is a lift to all floors, but there are steps to some rooms from the lift. The hotel also has a sauna.
