Explore some of the gems of North Wales as we experience some of the most breath taking scenery around North Wales, an area recognised as an area of outstanding beauty.

The highlight during our stay will be a journey to the rooftop of Wales on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. You will travel to the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales towering at 3,560ft and offering spectacular, awe inspiring views of the National Park. At the summit, you have one of the most stunning panoramas at your feet.

Experience some of the most breath taking scenery around North Wales

Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to North Wales with a stop en route. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.

Tuesday:  This morning we take a Menai Straits Cruise which heads towards the Menai Bridge with breath-taking scenery and awesome architecture. Look out for grey heron standing like statues along the banks while other wading birds explore the lower shores. Also today we will visit the seaside resort of Llandudno.

Wednesday: Another day takes us on a ride of the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Your journey begins with a brief history of the railway and mountain before passing with steep incline, the first of the two amazing viaducts crossing Afon Hwch, a beautiful waterfall before passing through the ancient forests and rocky valleys before finally reaching the summit.

Thursday: This morning we travel through the spectacular Horseshoe Pass, where we join the Rheilffordd Llangollen Railway for a journey on a nostalgic steam train. Later we also take a ride on the ‘Stream in the Sky’ on the Llangollen canal, gliding over the country’s biggest viaduct.

Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.
