We are searching for an experienced HR Administrator to join our internal HR team to assist in delivering a range of administrative responsibilities.

We have an extensive fleet of executive vehicles which helps us to service our programme of over 500 coach holidays, day trips and short breaks across the UK and Europe. We also operate a wide range of Private Hire jobs for a variety of occasions and provide school transport to thousands of pupils.
The role will be based at the Roberts Travel Group HQ in Hugglescote, Leicestershire, and you will be responsible for providing effective administrative support to the HR manager, Managing Director and other functional heads of department as appropriate. You will build working relationships with employees to gain trust and confidence as a Business support function..

What will the role entail?
Working as our HR Administrator, you can expect the following to be your main duties & responsibilities:
- Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
- Administer the new joiner process from recruitment documentation through to joining instructions and induction and deal with all local employee offers of employment using standard documentation provided
- Handle maternity, paternity, adoption parental and other leave processes and queries and assist in the preparation of appropriate paperwork
- Take ownership for the absence management system
- Oversee the holiday recording system
- Provide monthly management information reports as necessary.
- Update and maintain the HR system with sensitive employee data as required
- Maintain employee files & filing system
- Coordinate eligibility to work in the UK checks & references
- Oversee the administrative side to the changes to terms and conditions process i.e. forms and letters
- Organise leavers arrangements including acknowledge resignation letter, retrieval of company property, inform HR Manager to enable exit interview to be held, and inform payroll
- Provide general HR Administrative support to the HR manager with employee issues as and when required
- Note taker for disciplinary issues & confidential meetings
A little bit about you:
- CIPD level 3
- Demonstrable experience of working within an HR function
- Good working knowledge of HR policies & procedures
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with HR databases and systems
- Experience of providing advice and guidance within a support function
- Able to work confidentially with sensitive issues and company information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- A team player who thrives on being part of a team
- Flexibility to meet Business requirements
- Proficient and confident with IT packages
