Norfolk Lavender is England's premier Lavender Farm and boasts one of the only National collections of Lavender, lenjoy seeing the world famous lavender gardens and the Lavender Oil Distillery, National Lavender Collection and Herb Garden with a cream tea included.
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Norwich, stopping in Kings Lynn. We aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.
Tuesday: Today we visit Bressingham Steam and Gardens, where world renowned gardener and horticulturist Alan Bloom combined his passion for plants and gardens with his love of steam to create a truly unique experience. Take a trip on one of the four railways at Bressingham, the collection of working locomotives will take you round our magnificent gardens and woodland, or ride on the Gallopers.
Wednesday: Today we visit Norfolk Lavender, founded in 1932, Norfolk Lavender is England's premier lavender farm, renowned worldwide, and it has nearly 100 acres of lavender under cultivation.
These fields are on the Sandringham estate on private land. Here we have included a cream tea.
We will also visit Sandringham House and Gardens, the much loved country retreat of Her Majesty, The Queen, which has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house, set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and is at the heart of the 8,000-hectare Sandringham Estate.
Thursday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, stopping at Cambridge on the return journey, arriving back late afternoon.
