Bournemouth, boasting seven miles of golden beach and clear blue sea, is a vibrant cosmopolitan town that has it all. Situated in the heart of Dorset on the south coast, it has one of this country’s warmest climates. It is an ideal location to explore the local area, much of which is areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Monday: We depart the Travel Centre this morning and make our way to Bournemouth with a stop en route, we aim to arrive at the hotel late afternoon.
Tuesday: Today we visit Lyndhurst which became the natural 'capital' of the New Forest when William the Conqueror established his hunting grounds here. Now there's much to keep you busy, from the museum in the New Forest Visitor Centre to shops and cafes. Don't miss the grave of the original Alice in Wonderland (Alice Liddell, later Hargreaves) in the churchyard.
Wednesday: This morning we board the coach to visit Kingston Lacey, home to the Bankes family for over 300 years and is a monument to the family’s exceptional taste & desire to surround themselves with beauty.
Thursday: Today is your free day in resort.
Friday: We bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff as we head back this morning to Hugglescote, arriving back late afternoon.
