There’s no doubt cruising is the best way to truly appreciate the outstanding beauty of the stunning Scottish lochs; and on this incredible 8 night cruise aboard Boudicca, you’ll savour spectacular views of unspoilt, rugged scenery as you sail along wonderful waterways to a string of postcard-perfect destinations.

Wednesday 05th July – We depart the Travel Centre in Hugglescote this morning and make our way to Liverpool in time for our afternoon embarkation onto the stunning Boudicca. We set sail this evening.

Thursday 6th July – Today we are cruising Loch Fyne. Connected to the Sound of Jura, Loch Fyne is the longest of sea lochs, extending to 40 miles inland from the Sound of Bute. Lending its name to the chain of countrywide restaurants, its reputation for oyster fishing is well-known. This afternoon we reach Tarbert, known as the gateway to Kintyre in the south west of Argyll, this idyllic Scottish village is full of charming houses and pubs, welcoming you into the once entirely natural harbour – one of very few in Scotland.

Friday 7th July – This morning we arrive into Tobermory, Isles of Mull. Tobermory was built as a fishing port in the late 18th Century and is now the main village on the Isle of Mull. We depart this afternoon to cruise the Sound of Mull which forms part of the Atlantic Ocean. Whilst cruising this we sail past Duart Castle, one of the prettiest castle in the Highlands. We also cruise the Firth of Lorn and Fingal’s Cave. The astonishing Fingal’s Cave is located on the inhabited island of Staffa in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides. One of Britain’s must –see sights.

Saturday 8th July – Today we pass through the Corran Narrows, the narrowest point of Loch Linnhe- en route to Fort William. Flanked by rolling hills and magnificent mountains, Loch Linne offers incredible views, anytime of the day, anytime of the year. We sail to Fort William, known as the “outdoor Capital of the UK” and is one Scotland’s most popular destinations. We leave late afternoon and make our way back along Loch Linne and passing through the Corran Narrows.

Sunday 9th July – We arrive this morning into Ullapool. Founded by the British Fisheries Society in 1788, Ullapool sits on the edge of Loch Broom and is perfectly placed for trips to Ross-shire and the Scottish Highlands.  We depart late this afternoon to cruise Loch Broom, a beautiful sea loch in the northwestern Ross and Cromarty.

Monday 10th July – This morning we wake up in Kirkwall, Orkney Islands. Ancient echoes of Christian, Nordic and Celtic history resonate here in the capital of the Orkney Islands. We leave this evening.

Tuesday 11th July – Today we spend a full day in Invergordon. Located at the head of a beautiful firth in the stunning Scottish Highlands, Invergordon boasts stunning scenic beauty and epic landscapes to explore, and serves as a gateway to the mystical waters of Loch Ness – home of the legendary Loch Ness Monster. We depart Invergordon late this afternoon.

Wednesday 12th July - Today we spend a day at sea.

Thursday 13th May – We wake up this morning back in Liverpool. After breakfast we disembark the ship. Our Roberts Travel Group coach will be waiting to bring you back to the Travel Centre in Hugglescote.
