The first ever City of Liverpool Tattoo - a spectacular music and dance showcase featuring over 600 performers - will take place this September at Echo Arena, Liverpool.
Featuring a national and international showcase of both military and community-related marching bands, dancers and some quirky performances.
The City of Liverpool Tattoo will feature some very unique performances, including The Innova Irish Dancers of Britain’s Got Talent fame; the Historical Flag Wavers of Contrada Di Cori from Italy, and the sensational Juliana Bicycle Group from Holland, famed for their unicycle pyramid formation.
The event crescendos with the highly anticipated Massed Pipes and Drums – an expertly choreographed fusion of bands, led by three-time world champion drum major, Brian Wilson MBE, pipe major David Ogilvie (lone piper at the Edinburgh Tattoo, Glasgow Tattoo and Belfast Tattoo), and lead drummer Alan Craig, who leads the current world champion Drum Corps of Lomond and Clyde Pipe Band.
You will also have some free time in Liverpool to explore and relax before the show.
